A Royal Mail postwoman was caught on a CCTV footage urinating outside a house in Horton, Gloucestershire.

The bizarre footage shows the postwoman squatting down and urinating inside the property after delivering the parcel at the house.

The woman, wearing black trousers, a short blue sleeved shirt and a reflective orange bib with the Royal Mail logo on it, then gets up and pulls her trousers up.

The owner of the house was upset by the shocking images but also glad that the postwoman delivered the package first.

But other area residents were not happy at all.

She didn’t wash her hands and didn’t even wipe – said one resident who didn’t want to identify herself. My house is the next one and she touch my package without washing first.

A Royal Mail spokesperson said: ‘Royal Mail expects the highest standards of behaviour from our people while out on deliveries and collections.

‘Any such behaviour is completely unacceptable and we apologise to our customer in Gloucestershire. We are investigating this incident.’
