35 candidates running for 2018 Toronto Mayor election and only 2 are getting media coverage

There are 35 candidates running for city of Toronto Mayor on October 22, 2018 municipal elections. The list of candidates is as follows alphabetically by last name:

Although on most media, we only see two candidates getting media coverage. Even Wikipedia emphasizes on those two candidates. Is that a fair election or fair choice for the voters?
